Constructing The Advert

Constructing The Advert

In the construction of the magazine advert, what I did was get the images I was going to use and place them onto the page, once I did that, I edited the text at the top left of the advert to look 3D. I used Photoshop to edit my advert, the reason for this is because it allows me to cut out parts of an image and manipulate it to move wherever I would like to place it.

Constructing The Digipak

For the construction of the Digipak, we used a template to allow us to see what size we would need each part to be, and see where we were going to place our images.

we started by doing each image on Photoshop individually. What we would do was take an image that we would use and change its size and add other images to that image we were working on, this then creates the image that we would like to use.

Once we had finished finished all the images, we put them all into place, and this finished our Digipak.

Editing The Music Video - 3

Editing The Music Video - 3

This was our final editing session, in this session we added the band scene and made sure all the lip syncing was in sync. We had to move some of the scenes from our 2nd filming session around so that the transition to the band scene added to the continuation.

our final filming scene was the band scene. For this scene we were going to include more people with different instruments, however we felt that the focus should only be on Ufuk as this was consistent with the rest of the video. For this scene we filmed against a graffiti backdrop as this was consistent with the urban theme, and we used a microphone prop to make it appear as if it was live. We used a lot of different angles so that we could creatively include them in our music video.

For our second editing session we added the recordings from our 2nd filming session and edited them together with our London clips. We found that some parts of the 2nd filming session worked better than clips from the 1st, so we removed some of the London clips.

For our second filming session we continued to film in city/urban areas. We chose to film locally as this would save us time and money, and meant that we would be able to return easily if we had to re shoot any shots. For this filming session we also used a monopod, this was a piece of equipment that allowed us to film a tracking shot more steadily by hand, and allowed us to film more steadily when walking.
